Below is a brief overview of the Executive Team at Modus Care. 

Modus Care Ltd Executive Team

Tim Raymant – Managing Director

Tim was appointed Managing Director of Modus Care in April 2006.

Tim has spent most of his career working in the private and voluntary care sector and has extensive experience in the procurement, development and provision of specialist Hospital and Residential care services.  He has a detailed understanding and experience of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disability and Mental Health. 

Tim trained as a Social Worker and has worked in various settings within Local Government including as an Approved Mental Health Social Worker and Registration and Inspection Officer.

Previous positions include: Company Director, Consultant, Executive Director, Business Partner.


Deborah Stevenson – Director of Human Resources

Deborah is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has a degree in Business and Finance; a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management and a 16 year career in human resource management. 

Deborah joined Modus Care in July 2004 as Human Resources Manager and became Director of Human Resources in April 2006 and is on the Board of Directors for Modus Care.  Deborah is the principle advisor to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors on all Human Resources matters.

Deborah is the organisations Employment Law specialist and advisor and has lead responsibility for the organisations HR Strategy.

Previous positions include Senior HR positions in the public and private sector and principle advisor positions in the area's of employee relations, recruitment, training and reward.


Steve Lawson – Director of Operations

Steve joined Modus Care in June 2003 as a Registered Manager before progressing to Services Manager & subsequently Risk Manager. This involved evaluating and responding to risks associated with both the delivery of care and business development and strategy.

In 2006 Steve was appointed Director of Operations and is on the Board of Directors. As part of his professional development Steve was trained via Positive Response Training (PRT) as a behavioural specialist; is a Positive Behavioural Management (PBM) trainer and has gained a professional management diploma.

Steve has managed a range of services for those whose complex needs and challenging behaviours have often precluded them from traditional care services.  Steve has lead responsibility for the operation of Hospital, Residential and behavioural services, and is registered as the Nominated Individual with the Care Quality Commission.
