Our continued success in providing high quality specialist services for adults with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder depends on the skills of its employees.  We are committed to developing the wide range of capabilities our workforce offers and therefore, staff training and development is a very high priority for us.

We aim to build and maintain a culture which values, recognises and rewards employee contribution and where employees share a commitment to the company's objectives and to delivering their personal best.  To help them achieve this, we encourage and support our employees in developing their potential to the fullest.

All of our managers are responsible for ensuring that each member of their team achieves their personal training and development plan.  We also recognise the importance of continuous dialogue and feedback.  Regular supervision meetings between managers and individuals - in addition to annual appraisal - provide not only the opportunity to discuss work objectives and progress towards these, but also to plan any further personal development and to consider longer-term career aspirations.

Wherever possible, we promote from within.  We look imaginatively at career paths and actively support and encourage cross unit, department or regional moves and secondments.

External Training

Training available to external organisations We are able to offer places on the majority of our courses to external organisations. A regular programme runs throughout the year at our main training facility in Exeter, Devon. Please contact our administration team for further details of our training programme.
