Staff Induction

This 2 day course is mandatory for all new employees. The course includes: an introduction to Modus Care; an introduction to Autism and Aspergers; Values and Attitudes, Policies and Procedures; the role of the Care Support Worker and positive behavioural management training.

The induction programme is supplemented with a workbook which new employees complete throughout their first twelve weeks of employment. The workbook includes: Health & Safety; Meds – competency & knowledge; the Role of the Care Support Worker; Values & Attitudes; the General Social Care Council Code of Practice; POVA; Policies & Procedures; Self Care – competency & Knowledge and Practical Assessment & Observations for promoting Equal Opportunities, Equality & Diversity, Record keeping including reports.
