Hospital Care Services
Autism & Aspergers Syndrome Care
All Hospitals are registered with Care Quality Commission & are staffed with 24 hour clinical nursing staff (RNLD or RMN). All staff are expected to participate in on-going training and professional development, to ensure a high standard of care & a therapeutic approach.
All placements are subject to a comprehensive service needs assessment, and are based on the principles of meeting individual needs in a supportive environment, with an emphasis on promoting independent living in a ‘homely' setting.
Modus Care Hospital units provide specialist placements for individuals with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (Autism, Aspergers) personality disorder, learning disability, challenging behaviour & other associated mental health needs.
Modus Care Hospital units are able to offer placements to individuals liable to be detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) & offer ‘in - house' consultant psychiatry. Regular inspections by the Mental Health Act Commission ensure detained patients are supported in line with current legislation and best practice guidelines.
The Care Quality Commission are the regulatory body responsible for monitoring the standard of service provision within Modus Hospital services, and provide inspection reports on a regular basis.
